Women Entrepreneur's Conclave 2018

Women Entrepreneurship summit was held by 36inc state incubator on 3rd and 4th of January in VW canyon, an exceptionally momentous step towards promoting women entrepreneurs in C.G. With an aim to encourage the women of Chhattisgarh and make them aware of the state-run business centre 36 Inc Incubator centre, a two-day training programme was organized for around 50 women entrepreneurs. This training program covered every aspect of business, from finance to operations as well as human resource management to company registration and regulation.
On 3rd of January, Firstly Mr. Saurabh chaubey (Program and Business development manager at 36Inc), informed the gathering about mission and objective of 36Inc and gave details about Incubation process. Series of sessions started by session on start up India initiative for women entrepreneurs given by Ms Nayani Nasa (the start up manager, Invest India), It followed by Dr. Varsha Varwandkar’s session on Human resource management for start ups. Then Ms. Ayushi Gajendra gave a session on operation management for start ups and lastly an ending session by Mrs. Pushpa bhagyam on work life balance for women Entrepreneurs. Further on 4th of January the summit continued by the session of Mr. Mohit Sahu (Co-Founder and Director at BlueBanyan Technologies Pvt. Ltd) on social media marketing and IT, then a session by Mr. Rohit Parekh (Managing Director - Touchstone Services P Ltd) on Supply chain management and sales, further a session Ms. Namrata Tatiya on Company registration and regulations. Special guest Ms KAREN PEYRONNIN IMAM, ( Director, International programs, Binus University, Indonesia) shared her working experience in multinational environments. She also compared challenges and opportunities for women entrepreneurs in different markets of France, India and Indonesia. And lastly the summit ended by a guiding speech by Mr. Rajeev Roy (CEO of 36Inc) on Entrepreneurship opportunities in Chhattisgarh. He informed that the central government has selected 36 Inc Incubation Centre in Raipur as one of the three new incubators in the non-academic category to be developed as the Atal Innovation Centre.
Chhattisgarh was formed in the year 2000 and identifies itself as a 'Start-up State' and has proven to be a successful start up itself! The state is committed to development of Start-up ecosystem in the state by way of policy and actions and this event was one of the steps taken towards the empowerment of women entrepreneurship.
